Terms of use
This is a translation of the German original. If the two differ, the German version applies.
These terms apply to everyone who uses Stifti. We have kept them as short and clear as possible.
What Stifti is
Stifti is a platform where companies advertise apprenticeships and taster placements, and where young people can find them and apply. Stifti itself does not employ anyone and is not a party to any apprenticeship contract.
Costs
Stifti is free for young people, parents and schools. Advertising is free for companies. There may later be a subscription for optional extra features. We will state the price before anyone pays anything.
Account
- You need an EAuth account to sign in.
- Give correct information and do not share your account with anyone.
- You can delete your account at any time.
Rules for companies
- Only real apprenticeships and taster placements, with correct information.
- The pay for each year of the apprenticeship is mandatory.
- No discriminatory requirements and no content that breaks Swiss law.
- Use applicants' documents only for the application, and delete them if no apprenticeship results.
- Anyone who opens an account for a company must be authorised to do so.
Rules for everyone
- No false information, no spam, no insults.
- Do not try to disrupt Stifti, get around security measures or retrieve data in bulk.
Checks and blocking
We check new companies and follow up on reports. If someone breaks these rules, we can hide content and block accounts. As a rule, we say why.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Stifti running reliably and the information correct, but we cannot guarantee it. Companies are responsible for the information they publish. We are only liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, as far as the law allows.
Document storage
Documents in the document storage are end-to-end encrypted. If you lose your key and have no recovery code, we cannot restore the files.
Changes
We may adapt these terms. We will announce significant changes in advance.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zug, unless the law requires otherwise.
