Accessibility
This is a translation of the German original. If the two differ, the German version applies.
Stifti should work for everyone, including with a screen reader, with a keyboard only, with large text or on an old phone.
What we do
- We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
- Our typeface is Atkinson Hyperlegible, which was designed to be easy to read.
- Text has enough contrast, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
- If you ask your system for reduced motion, you will not see animations.
- Pages work without JavaScript. The exception is everything that gets encrypted: the document storage, the application dossier and applying need JavaScript.
- Stifti is available in many languages, including right-to-left languages.
What is not good yet
- Many translations are machine translations that have not yet been checked by people.
- We have not yet tested every page with screen readers.
